Mr. Bull here, along with many others who are just like him, are the only guards that this ancient castle has.
They lie in stupor all day and at night, wake up and swim around in the moat surrounding the castle.
And when they sense another trying to enter, they feast on the sense organs of those who dare, leaving behind a living body bereft of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin.
The next day, roaming all over the land, are blind, deaf, ageusic, anosmic, unfeeling beings trying to make sense of what happened.
Little do they know that sense does not come from the mind alone.
